Default Soler performance Throttle Bodies

Has anyone in the 991.1 NA group tried this performance throttle body?
Looks interesting as you need every edge you can get on a NA engine.

Thanks
Tom

Based on what I have read in this forum, throttle bodies don't do much to gain additional HP or quicker acceleration.

There are some more users but not here at Rennlist, we are new here.

For those of you who enjoy controllers, we'll be releasing controllers for Porsche as well within the next couple of months. The combination of our TB's and Controllers is unmatched in the industry.

IIRC the 991.1 C2S / GTS (not sure about 3.4) already have the OEM 82mm throttle body, so it would just be the core exchange?

The engine in the new 991 remains relatively unchanged from the previous 997.2 Carrera. The 991 Carrera continues to employs the 82mm throttle body just like the Carrera before it. This means there is no "Competition Plenum" available since the 82mm TB is still the largest TB available from Porsche.
Dundon offers some kind of 93mm throttle body for the GT cars

Have not used solar on a Porsche but had the throttle body and controller on my Z06. I can't say enough good things about the product and the owner, first class all the way.

Thank you much. It was actually due to requests from Corvette Forum members who also own a Porsche that we started developing products for Porsche. We hope they are members here too and someday they will chime in!

Absolutely, as soon as we get a local Porsche owner willing to test on his/her car. Free TB, we'll take care of the installation and the dyno too of course. In fact, if someone local happens to be reading this, please reach out. More often than not we get results from owner's builds themselves (online purchase) even before we can get to it. Again, these are proven on the flow bench valve to valve, and our modification makes the throttle bodies flow more than 10% than stock, it doesn't get any more "apples to apples" than that.
