Enclosed transport just put her wheels down this morning. Purchased from a fellow Rennlist member. 2016 GTS MT. Couldn’t be happier. Just sold my 2002 NSX and had a huge void in my leisure time. Tough act to follow. Very impressed with the car. No plates or registration yet so only a few sneaky miles so far. She’s a snarly beast for sure.
Congrats. You sure picked a winner and 5-lugs to boot. Huge score.
thanks!, this was very serendipitous for me as it was borne of rare patience on my part. very hard car to find. 5 lugs AND full leather, alcantara-delete, and sport seats. the only thing I would change would be getting rid of the sunroof and adding CCB,.....but at least the sunroof is painted metal and not glass and the regular brakes are great. very similar power-band to the NSX. you really gotta work for it. love it. thinking about getting a vanity plate TURNO.
Welcome to the GTS family. If you ever get this itch for an exhaust with more volume, Soul has some excellent options. On the NA, the sound is very nice.
Congrats! The 991.1 GTS strikes the perfect balance between sportiness and daily drivability - with an NA engine. That 3.8 L, 430 hp engine is something special, alright. Welcome to the club and I hope you put a ton of miles on the car!

Great find! 5-lugs + no Alcantara was a big reason that I wanted an S + X51 over the GTS. All of the performance without any of the stuff that I didn't really want. You could of course argue that the wider hips of the GTS adds some performance. My particular car also came with a Sport Design (aka GTS) bumper that I've still yet to put on.
Regarding the PCCBs, throw some 350mm Girodiscs and Pagid yellow pads on it and I imagine that you'll be very happy with it. This is my setup and while I've not had it on the track yet, I've yet to be able to find a run that induced any fade whatsoever (and I've smoked other brakes on some of those runs). I've also driven PCCBs HARD on the street and didn't find them to perform very noticeably differently. They do have a bit more initial bite, and at some point on the track the irons will likely become heat-soaked and fade like any large iron rotor, but 1. the cost of the PCCBs is substantially greater, and 2. the real-world performance is very similar until if/when you reach the heat limit on the irons.
What a great way to jump into your first P car. Beautiful car with a fantastic build spec....and a screamer!. As much as i've always loved NSX's, this GTS is definitely a step up imho. Congrats and enjoy big time!
