Default Wheel Finish Input NEEDED!

After quite a bit of research I think I've decided on powder-coating my black 991.1 C4S Carrera Classic wheels rather than invest in a brand new set. I actually like the wheels a lot, but really prefer they were black. I have two simple questions that I'd love to have your input on:

1. Should I go with GLOSS or MATTE black finish (I keep going back and forth on this!)?
2. Any advice/recommendations/concerns about powder-coating wheels, other than using a reputable WHEEL powder company... rather than have my wheels powder-coated alongside someones BBQ pit?

Thanks in advance!

I have a set of Litespeed wheels coming. I went back and forth with the same question. When I looked at most of my trim it was gloss so I went that route. My car also has the polished trim which is going to have to be wrapped. Figure gloss was the best optioon

I like gloss better. Looking to do the same with my RS Spyder Design wheels.

Gloss for sure. Matte is a PITA to clean. (brake dust especially)

Satin. Unless you wash you gloss wheels every week.

Appreciate the input! Great points about cleaning and touch up. Hadn't thought of that. GLOSS it is!

Personally I like satin. Gloss shows all damage, and dirt. Matt is a PITA to keep clean, maintain, touchup, plus if you polish, or wax, it will not longer be matt.

Since you are in the PNW, here is a good place for power coating...
