Looks great. It's the details that make the difference.

Also, I know you mentioned that you sat lower in the 18 ways. That is my concern with going the direction of buckets. They do sit quite a bit higher than the 18 ways or 4 ways. However, there are lowering brackets and I'm guessing you could have thinner foam made for the inserts (I just haven't looked into this enough).

GREAT job!

Just tons of class and thought. Nothing obscene, other than looking fantastic. 11/10

Well done!
Best compliment one can receive. I always go for the "less is more" approach when I modified cars. Despite performing lots of small little changes, I make sure it all have a balance and the changes are complimentary. Thanks!

How tall are you? I'm 5'11''. no sunroof in my car. Even with a helmet on its not a problem. I have clearance. Lowering brackets angle the seat backward I believe. Yes you can have thinner foam made as well. Lots of options should it be an issue.

I might be concerned if you are well over 6'

Looks wonderful!

if you don't mind me asking, how much were the seats?

Also, did you have any issues fitting the seats with any warning lights, etc?

No issues fitting the seats if you are prepared. Did it in one take and everything was perfect. Just study this thread.

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1078...91-2-a-12.html

The cheapest source for seats (new) was Carnewal. They used to run about $8K new shipped from that source in Belgium.

It appears pricing has increased probably due to freight costs and even lower supply. Eventually they will run out because they were discontinued,

http://carnewal.com/products/981/p91...-:-991-version

I picked mine up used and prefer not to say. I can say there is another $400-$500 in parts required, and I also got the inserts for the seats done by Classic FX which ran another $1200 t the time.

FANTASTIC! I love red especially black/red stitching. I recently ordered a Taycan with red interior. Now it's time for a red chrono clock

Great job! It's great that the folding buckets work.
I love it. Of course, I'm a bit biased. 😋

Thanks, I was thinking about the red clock and red stitched cover for up there but it was sold out from under me. If my parts supplier can get one I will go for it.
