Default ISO South Jersey PPI At Dealer

Hey All,

I'm interested in a 991.2 located at an Audi dealership in S. Jersey near Cherry Hill. The dealer states that because of liabilities, the car must remain on site for a PPI, so I'd have to find someone to visit the car there. Is this a red flag?
Does anyone know someone that could perform the PPI at the dealer?

Sounds a bit sketchy but they might have had a few cars damaged or totaled. Inquire with some German independent repair shops in the area. If they won’t do it, then they should know who will. If it’s not going to happen then forget about the car.

Also, make sure they own the car and it’s not on consignment. If you want to know why, search on CNC Motors and see what a cluster can result from shady business dealings when cars are consigned.

FWIW I just purchased a 991.1 through a Mercedes dealership. They requested a refundable deposit ($2,500.00) on the vehicle. The salesman brought the car to an independent shop of my choice. I of course paid for the PPI. I would be skeptical of the dealership if they would not do the same for you.

That dealer is also a Porsche dealer which brings up an interesting question. If it is a Porsche dealer can they do their own PPI?

Which dealer?

Sure, a Porsche dealer can perform a PPI with a car on their lot but I would be skeptical of any bias.
