Thank God for Rennlist
Just a thank you for this list and the participants here.
My 2013 C2S cab had developed a rattle coming from the passenger side that was driving me crazy. I couldn't find it - I banged all over the door panel (even removed it to see if something was loose in there), on the dash, under the dash, on the back seat side panels, . . . everywhere. I had nearly given up and resigned myself to driving the car to the Porsche dealer 90 miles away from me and paying them to find the rattle, but then decided to do a search on Rennlist and see if anyone else might have come across my problem.
Lo and behold, after sorting through a dozen "rattles on a cabriolet" threads, I found a description of a rattle that sounded suspiciously like mine, with instructions on how to fix it. I took my iPad out to my car, followed the instructions in the thread, and found that indeed, this was the cause of my rattle: a loose bolt holding a cable for the convertible top at the rear of the car. I tightened the bolt per instructions, and the rattle disappeared.
The benefits of a community like Rennlist cannot be overstated. Thank you all.

Yes, that's the one.
Not in a million years would I have found the source of the rattle on my own. The problem with rattles in all cars is that they can originate far from where you THINK the sound is coming from. I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that the rattle was coming from the passenger side door. It wasn't. Not even close.

I strongly echo that sentiment that the community on here is incredible. Last month I had someone send me photos of a mod I was looking at, and then offered to get more on the wknd if need be by travelling out to where his car was stored. Wonderful support.
