Default Help Needed with Front Spoiler Lip Part#

I have a 991.2 C4, obviously no SPASM nor PDCC. I am looking to purchase the larger front lip spoiler as shown in this picture below.

If you check Tequipment, there are two part numbers 991 044 803 30 and 991 044 803 31 (for SPAMS or PDCC vehicles).

The problem is when I look at the photos Porsche provides for the parts it does not look as substantial as the photo below, so I am concerned it is not the proper one.

Adding to the confusion, is that of those two part numbers above, my Carrera 4 is a listed fitment for both. So if both fit my Carrera 4, is one different? My dealership came back with the non SPASM/PDCC version, 991 044 803 30, but they don't have any further info to confirm. I am wondering if anyone else does that has installed. As always thanks for any comments.

Both fit. One is 'sport design' and one is just "sport" if I'm not mistaken. You have the "sport" one, which is standard with SPASM but can be optioned in via other codes -- I think the C4 might always be this bumper? Not 100% sure on that.

Regardless, this is what you want:

Thanks, yes my stock front lip spoiler barely shows as I do not have the SPASM sport version..which is the more robust one shown in my photo example above. The one I want is as per your Suncoast link, but I am trying to confirm the actual Porsche part number of that more substantial sport lip.

991 505 525 04 is listed as the front spoiler lip with I030 - Sport Chassis -- this is the designation for the 10mm lowering from SPASM.

The alternative is 991 505 525 03, which is the front spoiler lip for I352/475/477 which amount to "non-SPASM"

There is no painted version part number. It comes primered or as raw plastic.

The part number I supplied is paintable. That's all you can get.

Thanks, but Porsche Tequipment seems to list two other sport lips, both primered versions, that are not those part numbers.

part#991-044-803-30 and 991-044-803-31

Those both are the standard front lip.

If you aren't satisfied with the answers above, call your local Porsche dealership's parts department and ask for the part number.

Nothing to do with satisfied, I am simply trying to figure it out. I was told that was the sport slip so apparently they were wrong.

As per Suncoast, there appears to be a primered version of this sport lip. That is the Porsche part number I am looking for.

PS To clear up some confusion above, the photo I supplied is not my car..that is just a photo of the spoiler I am searching for.

Crap, pasted in the wrong part number in the earlier post. You want 991 505 525 04 (or 04 OK1), not 03 (standard front spoiler) or 05 (sport w/center radiator?). Everything indicates the OK1 part number is raw ABS, whereas the one without OK1 has primer. You can paint either version, so get whichever is cheaper IMO.

Below is a more in depth explanation of what's available:

Here are the available parts from Porsche as per their parts catalogue -- this is the same thing the parts department uses when you do not supply a VIN. Supplying a VIN filters the parts specific to your option packages.

And the diagram:

For the parts list, I030 is "Sport-type chassis" which is the 10mm lowering from SPASM. SPASM gets you the sport lip, the one you pictured in the original post, as standard equipment.
I859 is I believe for the center radiator for "hot climate" markets, which USDM is not considered. The "-I859" in this context means "without that option" whereas the "I859" means "with that option"
I477 is for non-sport PASM. It's grouped with I352 and I457, which implies to me that you couldn't get LCA with SPASM, or at least this bumper setup wasn't available as such. Kind of nebulous, but doesn't really matter for the purposes of this discussion.

Paint-matched bumpers do not have part numbers. If they did, there would be a part number listed for every available paint code, very similar to how each interior part has a version for each interior finish.

The only part numbers currently available for the sport chassis lip, the one you have pictured in the original post, are 991 505 525 04 and 991 505 525 04 OK1. If I'm not mistaken, one is primed, one is raw ABS. The photo you posted is the raw ABS.

OP,
I can confirm, I ordered the 991-505-525-04-OK1 sport spoiler during the winter. It's raw black ABS. Haven't installed it yet, as the car just came out of storage. It is exactly as shown in the original photo.

Wonderful, thank you both. I wonder if it is only in the USA then, as the primered version, 991 505 525 04 is apparently not available here. Only 991 505 525 04 OK1. I assume my paint guy would be able to paint the raw ABS fine, I just though it might be better to spend the money and get the already primed version..but that appears in the end to not be available here. But happy I know this ABS version is the one I want from your info.

Yes, as mentioned, you can paint either version. Between the two, I'd expect painters would prefer to do their own priming, that way they're working with known materials.
