Default Center console - help

Removed the center console to install phone bracket and this piece fell off. Switched side and it also fell off; so it appeared that there wasn’t a solid attachment point.

Any help is appreciated on how to or where to reattached

and this is my new baby

For those without intimate knowledge of the interior (like meeee), can you post the area it came from?

I believe that piece fits on the inside of the center console side trim panel. It just sets in a grove on the panel. You put the plastic piece in its slot and press the trim panel into console closest to the dash and work the snaps back towards the armrest. That plastic piece just sits on a small shelf, so if you tilt the trim piece to much it falls off. This happened to me when I put my phone mount on the console under that side trim piece. I’m not sure what that plastic piece does, but if I ever take off those panels again, I’m going to try 2 sided tape to hold it in place. Good luck!
