Moshammer Rear Diffuser EVO 991.2
Still on my journey for a rear diffuser that I like, and came across this Moshammer diffuser with the mesh grilles. For those that have it, are you able to post some photos? I had a few queries as well:
- are you happy with it, build quality, installation ?
- they seem secretive for some reason with their instructions, so does it attach the exact same way as the original stock one? Are there any holes drilled? Attached by screws? (I am not certain how the stock one is on there)
- how exactly do the mesh grilles get attached? I see that they are separate on their website, and wonder if you have to screw or glue them in to the diffuser?
- is the primed and ready to paint version very similar in look and texture to the stock OEM rear diffuser?
- did anyone purchase the satin black painted one and if so, do you have photos?
- has anyone painted there Moshammer diffuser, and does it look like much paint prep work would be needed in order to properly paint?
As always, thank you for any comments.

Do a search for "Moshammer" in the 991 forum and you'll find some users that have installed it. You can PM them.
It's the easiest way to get feedback in case they miss this thread.

That is so clean. I wish someone would make a clean diffuser like that for the 991.1

I agree. Never noticed it before, and was leaning heavily towards the Akra. My first take though when I saw the Moshammer was wow, it looks more fitting or proper in my eye. I think the openers of the mesh make it look VG. Just not sure of the all the details on the Mosshammer nor quality. Assume made in Germany would be good.

None of these are full diffusers, nor do they make any type of downforce. They're all just fancy covers.
Look at the back of a full-blown race car or a Ferrari. You can see that the rear valance at the very bottom curves under the rear of the car at a slopped angle. This creates negative pressure and increased downforce.
In order to do that on our cars, you'd have to purchase, separately, a 911R rear diffuser that fits under the car. There's a thread on Rennlist that documents what needs to be done (I believe it's the GT3 front end on GTS - Ouch).

Thanks, that is what I thought that these do squat..just only for looks. I just thought maybe the way that previous post was that somehow I was missing something on the Akra.
