My exasperation comes from the fact that the first reply about Hurley Heywood included a link to Info about him. I'm all for helping out, but when someone can't even click on a link for info, I have no patience. People tried to answer the OP's original question, but he wants the info spoon fed to him & now he's crying because he's been called out? Nope. Be a big boy.

Ouch.
I find that a good microfiber cloth and some rubbing alcohol will take care of marks like that. That or a good buff with some AOI product and a light cutting pad on a DA polisher should clean that right off.

I'm not trying to prolong the beatings but it would be nice to know the story about how the autographs ended up on that car.

Brumos most likely facilitated it. They would hold special events where long time customers could meet up with Porsche nobility and have their cars signed. Back in the day supposedly Hurley used to test drive and sign off on every 911 before Brumos delivered it to a customer.

Interesting, as this is the first Porsche that I have seen with multiple signatures.
Writing on the hood must have been awkward.

One of the few Rolex watches that I would want. Very nice
Still wanting to know more about how and when those signatures were written on the car. Definitely makes for a great story.
