thanks for the offer, just got it plugged by Americas Tire this am, though it wont be long till i pick up my next nail considering it's an active construction zone where i live

The one rear that was covered was a nearly new tire with a few hundred miles, it was a $50 charge for the tire, mounting and balance instead of the full price north of $400.

Curious: did they just plug from the outside, or install a patch plug from the inside?

thought they’d do it properly and fix inside but im suspecting just outside given i didnt loose much tire pressure (didnt hear them pump up the tire)

turns out less than 1 week, my rear left tire picked up 2 nails! Went completely flat but was able to pump it back up and drive to amtire. Quick correction on my last post, they do dismount the tire and repair the inside (not just outside)

You need to stop clipping the apex on those turns. Too close to the junk on the roads.

lol ive been super careful and didnt even drive the car since last repair. I found wxtra debris in the middle of my street, suspect i picked it up there on the way back. Too many construction near my house

Agree. Two nails in 5 years. One in 981 S. One in 997.2 S. Both in passenger rear. TPMS alerted me to both through slow drop in psi.
