The Fidelity warranty is still being offered by dealers. I will definitely echo that Trenton has been wonderful to chat with however, the Fidelity warranty was similarly priced to the GWC offered by him so I went ahead with Fidelity for 3yr/36k on my Cayenne coupe.

June 2025 Fidelity told its retailers coverage can only be applied to a vehicle when the vehicle is being purchased off their Fidelity dealer lot. Am I surprised there are dealers not following these instructions for a quick buck? No. Are they putting these customers at risk having issues with their coverage in the future? You bet.
The former sponsor Volvo dealer and myself are not, not offering Fidelity coverage to those who reach out from the forums on purpose, 99% of you guys online do not meet the coverage eligibility requirements imposed June 2025.

Hey Trenton - this is the response I got when I told them about the Jine 2025 change:
"Hi there – that is not the case with Fidelity. The majority of the policies we write with Fidelity are for vehicles not sold here and have had no issues with Fidelity honoring their coverage plans."
Given it's been 7 months since this change has happened, people who have used it since then and there would be uproar if it wasn't covered so I think not all dealers were affected by this change.

There's no uproar because the Fidelity retailers here are following the rules.
If there is anything I've learned, customers are going to listen to what they want to hear, and dealers know that, that is why we have independent dealers listing cars "With Porsche CPO Warranty"... all dealer games, good luck.

Not sure what you mean here? I'm saying there would be an uproar by customers like us on the forums that dealers sold customers Fidelity warranties after June 20025 and Fidelity / dealers are not honoring them.

Trenton will obviously clarify/explain but I’m guessing he means it’s only been 7 months. How many dealers are doing this (breaking the new rule) and how many claims have been submitted on those policies (talking 911’s only here). I’d say very few to all of the above. This type of thing rears its ugly head more as time goes on and claims increase
Fidelity should be able to simply check the carfax to see when/where the car was purchased/changed ownership and compare it to when/where the warranty was purchased in many cases.. Or have an AI program/bot do it instantly. lol. Some cases might involve more digging but I feel sorry for anyone who gets squished in the middle of this. It will not end well for them….or the selling dealer.

Thanks for the back up on this, I know it only means so much coming from me but I'd agree with this stance. Fidelity told us all, across the country, the parameters and guidelines. Maybe we're too much of a rule follower, but to me, having the reputation with the warranty company of an excellent, rule following, pay on time retailer means as perfect as an experience for our customers come claim time. I can't imagine going to my head of Fidelity claims contact for help or assistance on a contract I knowingly shouldn't have written in the first place... just not how we roll over here.

From what I gather there are nuances to this or that Fidelity may be softening their stance after seeing their sales declined. The finance manager at the Audi dealer I take my wife's Q5 to be serviced at offered to sell a Fidelity Warranty. I questioned him about this rule that the warranty has to be sold at time of purchase...when I went back to pickup the car yesterday he showed me an email response from his Fidelity rep saying that he can sell the warranties to any customers that walk into his dealership, or even by word of mouth as long as he does not solicit the remote sales. I can understand why they don't want sales on enthusiast forums as it greatly increases their exposure to tuned and otherwise modified vehicles.
His price was terrible, but I told him if he gets the price right I would buy for the Q5 and my 911...he said he would get back to me after he discusses with his GM.

We have not received anything yet through official channels, the pricing may be a tell here as well. Of course as a Fidelity dealer, we will have updates when available. As far as the worries of an abundance of modified vehicles from the community, we haven't see anything to support that and if that were the case, it would provide the warranty company to not pay for repairs related, also making it also a non-factor.
