Default Non PSE Soul Performance X pipe, sport cats and headers-wow

Pulled off my Fabspeed X pipe (shameless plug-for sale in the marketplace) and installed a full Soul system last week. Self install with the help of other posts on Rennlist. I would say the job was a 6.5 out of 10, with 10 being pulling the motor. With right tools and tall jack stands, it can be done in home garage. All in I spent 3 night, three hours a night, taking my time (its winter now so no hurry). Nothing tricky and even the heat shield bolts were not that big of an issue

Disclaimer- Sound is subjective, I cant tell you my mild is your loud. Listen to youtube or better yet, listen to someone that has these parts installed

I dont have a recording to share but I can say I was pleasantly surprised by the tone/sound of the 3 components working together. Cold start is LOUD but after that, very reasonable. In regular mode it has a nice deep tone, city driving give a few pops and crackles, turbo whistle is evident every time you hit the gas. Sport Mode, tone gets better and pops become more pronounced. ZERO drone, seriously, nada. It has been written that it takes a few hundred miles to break in the pipes/tune. Right now, it is music to my ears. in normal mode, I tried several hands free calls and I hand no problem with sound nor did the person on other end of call. I rarely write reviews but I have to say, I am very pleased with the sound the 4S is making, Was not looking for performance gains, was looking for something that sounded like my old 993. While it will never replicate the NA sound, this package make the water cooled engine sound so much better than stock
Let me know if you guys have any questions, not sure anyone has done a full front to back system on the 991.2 platform

Awesome! Would love to hear it. I did the full exhaust system including headers and it transformed the car.

991.2 non-PSE as well. Stock muffler keeps things WAY TOO quiet! I have a muffler delete X and it's much improved. OE CATS still holding back some sound.

I've been saying, headers and sport cats! Small note, Vektor has sport cats with larger outlet piping going to the muffler than any other options. Should improve power and maybe make it a bit louder.

The piping going into the mufflers can only be so large given the bottleneck of the factory muffler inlets.
