Thumbs up on all Noco products. I've ash-canned a single terminal and a four-terminal Battery Tender in the last six months.

Question guys. If the battery dies and not possible to open frunk, could I use the Ctek plugged into the footwell socket to recharge it without doing the fuse box hack to open the frunk? Seems to me this should work. Thanks.

CTEK are trickle chargers, it would assume that 1) Your battery is healthy and can accept a charge 2) you are patient, it may take a day or two to get enough charge in there to energize a switch.

I suggest not to push your battery too far, it you lose the ability to turn the Auto/Stop on and off (switch is on the center console) then that's a sign your battery is on the way out. Replace it then before you get into that kind of scenario.

Yes...ASSuming the footwell socket is not de-coupled from the battery when it is flat, i.e. plugging in any 12V source to the footwell is putting (at least) 12V across the battery terminals. That being the case, your car should think "everything's normal' and the key will pop the frunk.

Unless I'm missing something...?

You can still open the frunk with less charge but not enough to start. Ask me how i know.
