Here is mine in my prior garage (prior to P car life) and current setup. Both ceilings are just under 10 ft tall.

Also used for servicing.

Depending on the lift, the height of both cars plus 6” is enough ... when shopping for lifts, I went to take a look at one at a guys home - he had a touch under 10’ of garage height and had a lift with two sports cars.

Although I have almost 12’ of height, my garage limitation for a two post lift was due to a bulkhead where the posts were situated ...

my ceilings were horribly low also. many large checks later and i have 12' where it matters. 20' single door also allows for tremendous access. miserable contractor experience with massive delays, but the end result will help me overlook the process.

i should have lifts in place by now, but they'll wait until the spring at this point.

Any special requirement/cost for the shipping? And did you install it yourself?
I worked through an installer for everything. He purchased the lift and installed it for me. Lift with install was $3,200. Other cost was the garage door motor mounted on the side and garage door rails moved higher. Had a garage door company do that for me...i think the total cost for that was $1,200

$3,200 installed. I think the Bendpak was $4,500 installed so I went with the cheaper option. No regrets and I have friends wo have this same lift with no issues.

Default Reinforced cement floor?

Did you have to reinforce the cement concrete under the posts? Normal garage floors are only 2.5-3.0 inches.

Not under a 4 post; yes under a 2 post unless the floor is 4” or more.

My friends and I have put together maybe 5 lifts. It’s not terribly difficult, the heaviest part is the ramp with the hydraulic ram. Otherwise assembly is relatively straightforward. The hardest part is getting the shipment dropped off at a residence because most freight shippers want to offload somewhere there’s a loading dock.

If you can borrow a truck and a trailer, the shipping depot will put the lift on the trailer for you. I have taken them off by myself. I take the packaging apart and unload piece by piece. Those rectangular HF furniture dollies or car wheel dollies can be used to help unload and move the parts. You will need a floor jack or two or an engine hoist. A strong friend is great if available.

Its going to be super tight. You will probably need a lift that has manual locks that don’t need the rails to be raised to unlock. With air actuated locks, the lift needs to go up about 4-6 inches to disengage the locks...you won’t have that room. You can always section and raise the ceiling to make more room if the structure will allow it.
