Sport Design/GTS MPG hit?

I drive a 991.1 base and get around 14mpg. I do almost no highway driving and my commute (when I had one) was through the canyons of Los Angeles, so it was let's say "spirited" when traffic allowed. Oh and stop/start has been disabled since the day I bought the car.

OK so I did the same 300mi run today, PCM showed 27.0 actual calculation showed 26.93. I filled up at start and end to calculate it accurately. This time I used cruise control set to 78, first time I have ever used it. Averaged 68mph. Seems like everything is fine.

My .1 C4 with the Sport Design package struggles to get 24mpg on a 300 mi road trip averaging 68mph. Even with sport mode off it doesn't change much.
I see plenty of posts claiming high 20's, low 30's on the highway. Even my Corvette gets near 30 on the same trip.
Can I assume the ducktail and front splitter are to blame? Everything else seems normal, so that's about all I can come up with.
My overall and typical MPG is around 20. I am not complaining, I didn't buy this for the MPG. Just wondering if others get similar numbers with the body kit.
