What is the difference between Escort's Redline 360 and Max 360? Besides $50
One of the biggest differences is that the Redline is immune to radar detector detectors, like the Spectre. But the Redline also has longer range. Redline 360C is one of the best plug and play detectors on the market.
April/May. They have something in the works and it will be released in April/May.
I'm guessing it will be out this year like you mentioned. Last year was a year no one anticipated regarding supply chain, so it's understandable they were unable to get it done. Also as someone that lives in Ohio, our restrictions, at least initially I think may have made it more challenging for them to develop. If they continue to push it off further, they will lose some credibility but if it is early to mid this year, that's acceptable. I'd also rather have a solid detector from the start rather than one that they are using their customers to essentially R&D test for them like plenty of detector companies do. Even the V1 Gen 2, which as everyone knows Valentine is pretty much a solid choice when it comes to reliability, had issues initially at launch.

Thea, Thea, Thea all I hear about is Thea. They have been talking about it for years. Its easy to come up with a grand concept, but making it work real world is a different story. I dont think Thea is coming to market any time soon and if it does its wont be anything close to what they are promising.
Mike Tyson: "everyone has a great plan until they get punched in the face". the real world can be a brutal place
fingers are still crossed they can get this done but do have significant doubt as well. we will see...
As of April 2021 the current release date and pre-order date for Theia is still not set but will be sometime in 2021. Please sign up for the e-mail list above to be notified when pre-orders begin!
Woot is running a special on refurb R7 and R3s today. The warranty is 90 days on the refurb units vs. one year on the brand new units. I picked up my R7 through a similar deal last year and figured that the $100+ savings over brand new was worth rolling the dice for me. If it breaks after 90 days, you're out whatever Uniden charges to repair the unit. If it doesn't break then you saved ~$100.
find it odd that they are waiting for parts to actually produce this thing and still don't know how much it's going to cost? would think that shoulda been sorted out all ready this late in the game (if they are all set to manufacture and just waiting of parts/chips/whatever).
so sick of all the marketing spin/BS in our world (in general). maybe i'm being too negative/cynical/paranoid here. really looking forward to this RD and hoping it's for real. fingers still crossed
