Is this a fairly easy self install?

I would love to say that I would have installed mine or would have been purchasing this promo but I got ripped off by a Rennlister (Blakdemmek) who had his used one for sale in the classified section and collected my money without sending it to me. First time anything like this has happened to me and hope other people see this so they buy direct from a supplier or do their due diligence before sending their money.

I will have this controller one day...but not buying it twice (at least right now) so I guess I will wait it out till after I get my family their gifts for Christmas first.

The DSC software is designed for Windows PC. But every new DSC controller comes already programmed. So a PC is only necessary for those who want to make changes to their DSC controller.

If you have a coupe the installation is very easy. Takes 3 minutes.
If you have a Targa it takes 10 minutes.

I do have the cabriolet and thanks so much for those detailed instructions! I have a 997.2 but guessing that it is identical to the 997.1 shown.

997.2 DSC installation is a piece of cake. Can be done about one minute. No tools needed.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek with my comment, but the reviews from others on the DSC are so positive I’m sure she’ll be happy.
Now I just have to figure out how an exhaust upgrade would be to her benefit.....

very simple! my exhaust when I hit the button to close the valve is just as quiet as if it was stock... so no one to be wiser

Got an email today that my DSC v3 will be here tomorrow! Just in time for Christmas.

I ordered a DSC V3 during the Thanksgiving sale and received an email today saying mine would be delivered 29 Dec. I can live with that as I suspect DSC Sport was slammed with orders from this sale.
