I've owned nearly every high end car out there and finally came to my senses and bought a brand new 991.2 gts. Hated the transgengender exhaust exit (wasn't sure if it was a carrera or a gt3 with the semi center exit so corrected it). Dumped about 20k into it between all bolt on mods and tune but sold 6 months later. Didn't like the turbocharged engine, the 7 speed manual was good though.
Bought a sharkwerks 3.9 gt3 and upgraded it to the 4.1. Horrible dd but a beast on track
Also purchased a 2016 targa gts (manual) and love the NA engine. I figured the rs wheels are a nice touch
Next mod to the targa may be a 991.1 gt3 front bumper

Love that quad exhaust on a .2
Curious you are back in a .1 GTS after selling your .2 GTS

I haven't had my 991.1 for very long. I absolutely love the way she drives, the sound of the NA is intoxicating. I love forced induction engines but this has introduced me to a whole new symphony of sound. I drove her to the office recently....I just love the look of the 991, I catch myself taking second and third lookbacks at her. But yes, I would probably do that with any 911....

I'm almost 2 years into my first Porsche (2014 C4S) and couldn't be happier! Before I found the 991, my first performance car, that hooked me on driving and all things automotive, was a W205 C63S - loved that TT V8 to death! However, not quite as maneuverable on the mountain/coastal backroads as I wanted:
Following 2 years of ownership, I bit the bullet during Summer of 2020 and purchased my 991.1 C4S, which I still have today. Can't get over the sound of the NA engine; I've put more miles on it over the various weekends than I'd care to admit, as well as a trackday or 2:
Here she is with my other current toy, an Evo X MR:

Thanks. Yeah I might powdercoat them satin black if I go with the gt3 front bumper.
