911., could you please give any advice on how to take apart the shift **** without breaking anything? Specifically I've read from another rennlist post that it's difficult to remove the center plate with the shift pattern on it without breaking tabs. From studying pics, it looks like it would be a motion of pushing up vertically while also pushing the top of the plate away from the ****. But I'm just guessing. Any advice? Or pics?

Suncoast has a smoking deal on a Genuine Porsche Carbon Fiber 7-Speed Shift ****: MSRP $1,125.00 on sale for $495.00.
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/npncf7spknob.html
Per my conversation with Suncoast, they said, "Yes, the item is a genuine Porsche part, 991424075138YR. On sale until supplies last."
I just picked one up. I like more Function First **** a lot but interested to try this piece and see how I like it.
