Wheel set just arrived and I weighed them each, if anyone was interested.

fronts 24.9 lbs
rears 28.2 lbs

Are these heavier than my OEM? I’m posting this as I’m researching

Hey guys/gals, wheels installed! I love the look, and it defiantly looks different than stock! But,

Id love to get opinions on my wheel stretch, the rim edges protrude out further than the tire so no wheel protection from the tire. They might be flush, but it’s close.

Also the wheels are pooching out from the well. Also not much, but it’s in my head and I can’t unsee it now. Is this something a drop spring will fix?

Any comments appreciated

I love these wheels

Any issues I should be aware of?

Looks great! Lower the car and the wheels will tilt in a bit and it will look awesome! What size tire and how wide is the wheel?

The only thing you can do is don't park or drive too close to the curb. I see the tire stick out of the fender it may rub the fender on some bumpy road, this is my experience!

Hi,

I have the same 991.2 c4s as you with rear-wheel steering. Will the same set work on the rear-wheel steering version? And how frequent will the tire touching the car body? Did you find any optimum tilt angle to avoid the touching? And if I tilt the rear wheel will this damage the rear-wheel steering? I am so glad that I found this thread when search for LM-R wheels for my c4s. Thank you again for all your valuable information!

Best,
Hans

The OP says he has RAS (Rear Axle Steering). Sometime I wish I bought a 4S for the lower offset rear wheels. G/L with your search and post pictures when you get your wheels!

Almost looks like a 325 rear tire would’ve better. Bit aggressive but looks great.

Han’s, the wheels/tire kit fit perfect and do not rub with RAS (rear wheel steering*). I’m set up with factory alignment so I cannot comment if camber changes would rub.

I’m really happy with this custom look and factory drive/handling, best of both worlds 👍🏼

if he lowers the car so there’s no or little gap, the fitment is perfect. cars too high so it looks like that.
