Definitely a rare option but entirely functional, to which I cannot fault.

I offer up two more rare options (not on my car):

-PCM delete
-Rear defrost on Carrera T :P

I would have loved on on my '14 991/50th but bought it slightly used so no wiper. We still regret not getting it on my wife's '08 Cayman. Year-round driver and would have been so much more helpful in heavy rains.

I love it! If I winter drove mine, I'd absolutely have one. Maybe when I'm older and wealthier, I'll wrap my head around a 911 that I drive as a winter beater

When I think of the rear wiper, I remember how many cars I see driving around with clear poly bags over the wiper. I guess they’ve been to auto car wash, but have no idea about the bags.
Most Pcar drivers surely avoid those like the plague!

Well. It didn't take long to chime in with a comment like this. Come on, Bob. Thats like someone chiming in on all the blue in your car and saying it rings the interior. We do what we want with our cars and order them how we want, right? Just saying.

Hope Bob never sees my car parked with rear wiper and spoiler up but that's the way I like it some days, so like it or lump it!

Long live the rear wiper! Cleveland, OH daily driver here. I haven’t been through my first winter yet but I was happy to find it on the options list when I found the car.

I don't have one but I do like it. It looks very European, especially in wide bodies.

Had one on my 997. Being in SoCal, never used it, but I did swap out the blade every two years!

I still find the 997s very attractive. Thanks for sharing that photo.

Love the wiper and the ducktail! Perfection there! Where abouts are you in Cleveland? I'm over in Hudson.
