Exclamation Best Cobb Protuner in the Northeast for 991.2?

Hey guys!

My base 991.2 has Kline inconel headers, Soul sport cats, Fabspeed x-pipe/tips and a BMC filter. I just picked up a Cobb AP. I'm in North NJ but and I'm willing to travel to get the best dyno-tune for the car. I'll load up stage 2 for the time being but there's nothing better than a custom tune.

Please advise!

Thanks,
Anthony

There are lots of remote tune options out there for pro tuning. That opens up your options quite a bit (M-engineering on the west coast, Bgb in Florida, etc). Just log a pull with the accessport, send the map to your tuner, have them modify the file until you guys are satisfied. I have done so with mine and have no complaints.

In person dyno-tune is the best way to go. No question.

Anyone else?

Did you talk to them? Just get John on the phone and you can ask him anything. He's a hardcore racing/track day guy. He knows Porsche extremely well as thats what we specializes in. He will do a dyno and road tune.

Im just waiting on my headers to be installed and then bringing it over for a tune.

Does anyone else have some feedback on protuners in the northeast? The more opinions, the better. Thanks

I haven't dealt with them directly yet as all my cars have been stock to this point, but I hear exceptionally great things about TPC racing. A bit of a hike from Jersey but still reasonable.

I had my Subaru e-tuned at first.

Lots of 3rd gear pulls, logging and sending off files. You can also tune remotely on a dyno, and send files to the tuner, receive them and upload and do more pulls on a dyno.

Finally got around to get it tuned in person on a dyno. The 'pro-tune' was about 3 hrs on the dyno, countless pulls and drivability was dramatically better. Cruising around town, low rpm, part throttle etc etc, everything was smoother, and more power was made everywhere.

An E-tune will work, but if you can get on a dyno than go that direction. The tuner will have the safety of having a wideband sensor, and the opportunity to ensure that the car drives like stock, but makes as much power as it can safely.

I would recommend an in person dyno tune over a remote tune if the logistics permit.
