if possible, I would love to deploy my spoiler much later than 60 miles/hr, more like 80-85 would be great.

75 mph (120 km/ h) and retracts again below approx. 50 mph (80 km/h)

I can clearly see mine deployed as it covers the bottom 2-3" of my rear window. See avatar
The wing on the T was developed by a very secretive group of Porsche engineers. Several were recruited by Porsche from Skunk Works. Just one of many reasons the T is so special and is certain to appreciate....😆

My C4S mirrors this behavior. I've never had the spolier engage at lower speeds, even on the hottest days.

For those liking the spoiler up when parked, get a ducktail. Seeing inside the spoiler hatch and its inner workings does nothing for the car's aesthetics. I also think you're inviting people to either touch your car, monkey with it, etc.

Really?
My 2018 GTS (in Orange County, CA) always deploy spoiler at 60 mph and retracts almost under 20-30 mph (slowing down to stop at traffic light).

so special until the 992 T, then it sinks into the abyss. But a well optioned T might have some future value, and that would have to include every option that helped keep weight off the car and especially the lightweight glass.

The T does not have a wing, unless you put one on.

Just noticed today I can barely see the spoiler in the rear view mirror when deployed. Just the leading edge at the center. Must be my mostly upright seating position.

^^ I try to like this ducktail but I can’t get beyond how unwell it’s integrated compared to 70s 911s where there was a seamless and exacting integration from the back leading edge to the bumper. I certainly don’t hate it and appreciate there’s one less thing to malfunction. The look of a 991 with an undeployed wing is still the nicest rear view, especially with the grills the special versions have.

I can see the extended spoiler with my rear view mirror. It always extends automatically at 60mph or when it’s hot.
Everyone has an a-hole and an opinion. Who really cares what people think? Want to drive around with it up, do it. Want to park it with the spoiler extended, do it! If that bothers strange people, do it more often!“People are strange is when you are a stranger” so don’t be a stranger.

My T is the same, extends at 60 and retracts at 40.

By the manual, the 991.2 extends at 55 and retracts at 35.
the 991.1 extends at 76 and retracts at 55.
