Default First Time Porsche Owner - Finally got a 991.2

I have been looking at 991s for about 5 years now. Always wanted to get one, but never could pull the trigger. Started looking more seriously about 2 years ago, calling on a couple leads a week. My experience was that this is a very difficult market to get into, at least when buying used. I did have high expectations on the options that I wanted and was unwilling to compromise, which is why it took me so long to land on a car. I also wanted to purchase a CPO direct from a Porsche dealership.

My must have options were:
* Red interior
* LED headlights
* Glass Sunroof
* Sport Chrono
* Sport Exhaust
* PDK
* S, 4S, or GTS
* Low miles <20k

I was open to a 991.1 or 991.2, 2013-2017. Every time I found a decently priced car with the options above, it sold before I could close the deal. It seemed as though I was never going to find a car that met my criteria. Additionally, the inventory situation for used cars has been dismal at best. About a month ago, after work, I checked online and found a beautiful car that met all of these criteria - a white 2017 991.2 with 13.5k miles. But, it wasn't a CPO, and was being sold at an Indy dealer in Houston. I made a phone call, made an offer, and it was accepted. Had the car PPI'd at an independent mechanic. It passes. Flew into Houston 2 days later and drove her home!

After washing the car, I noticed the paint was in ok condition at best and there was no PPF on the impact areas in front of the rear wheels. They were completely sandblasted! Thankfully, after a paint correction, most of the marks came out with just some minor pitting in the paint. I then had the car 100% wrapped in XPEL ultimate plus and also added carbon fiber magnetic stone guards from Magnagraphx. I purchased a 3yr/36k mile Fidelity platinum warranty for $2600 to cover any major issues as I don't know the full history of the car.
