I've plugged a few tires over the years with absolutely no problem. Even tracked a 335 with a plugged tire years ago.

Just go to a tire shop or indy.

i'm good friends with my SA. he said that they do sometimes repair on occasion; but if i want he'll replace it for me. They will check the other rear and he'll let me know if they recommend to replace it or not

I would take it to a tire shop to do a good patch for $20 (instead of a plug patch) and call it a day

except my rear tires don’t have a lot of life left in them so why not get a free tire? (minus $50 deductible)

I've plugged motorcycle tires and car tires and driven them at speed. It shouldn't be a problem.

dealership called this morning. they recommended replacing both rear tires as they are 5/32's (fronts are 7/32's so they're fine). total cost is $621 for both tires including the $50 deductible. this is for the michellins
