Default $650 to change serpentine belt

Auto shop quoting me $650 to essentially change the serpentine belt. (Removing bumper, spoiler, and a few other things). Does this seem like a reasonable price?

im getting some major repairs done so this was essentially the quote given to just get down to the PDCC system to diagnose what’s wrong, they said they would change the belt in the process, but that it would cost $650 just for them to get to the PDCC reservoir to see what’s wrong with it

My Local dealer in the SF Bay Area (more expensive labor market) Charged around $800-900 for the 60k mile PDCC service, this requires the removal of the serpentine belt, new PDCC bottle etc. I think the part was not super pricey ($50 or so)

Lots of labor to get to it-so the charge is about right...I would attempt a diy considering the belt is cheap.

Lots of stuff has to come off to get there. I would think this is reasonable unless you do yourself.

Bit on the high side but reasonable.

Have u had the heat shield safety campaign done? I had them do the serpentine belt at the same time. Even with the cost of the belt, it was $189.

So are they charging you $650 for the PDCC diagnosis and then $25-$40 for the belt? Still seems really expensive. Here's a link to my DIY on the serp belt replacement. I can do one in an hour start to finish now that I've done it before (as should an Indy/Porsche Service Center).

It's a lot of labor time, but not really difficult, here's some pics from my 991.2, my belt was fine so I didn't change it, but I had to get to that pesky air filter... not sure If this helps, but the belt itself is like $35

This car made me DIY even more than I used to. I changed the belt myself for $85 Canadian. I can do an oil change for about $70 Canadian when Mobil 1 is on sale at Walmart or Canadian Tire. Sure beats the local dealer wanting $1,800 for the belt/plugs/oil change as a combo (they won't do a la carte).

Reasonable. I had them change the air filters at the same time
