Default Steering wheel tilt won't tilt

Hello. This is a 991.1 base Carrera coupe (2014). The steering wheel tilt feature suddenly stopped working. This car has the electro drive telescoping and tilt option and I have Comfort Entry. I have tested the tilt with the steering wheel fully extended and fully retracted. It does not tilt when the Comfort Entry is engaged or off. Any ideas what the problem can be.

Thank you. Patrick

Not sure it there is a fuse, but you could try disconnecting the battery overnight to see if it resets.
Stranger things have happened..

I think there is an option in the comfort entry to enable/disable steering wheel tilt. Somewhere in the settings menu on the main cluster. I would start with checking that it is enabled.

if its anything like the newer mercedes, they need to be "persuaded" every once in a while to get them working as they are seldom used. For my fathers GLK-the method that I (and many others including dealers) used is to work the switch while pulling down or hitting the wheel to break it free. Once free-work the motor up and down a few times. Worked like a charm on that car-may be worth a shot.
