Default Routine Service/Maintenance Question

I have a 2019 991.2 with 6000 miles. It has already had the initial, included with purchase, oil change. It has over 2-1/2 years of factory warranty remaining. Do I need to have future routine service done at Porsche dealer while car is in warranty or can I have it done at an indie shop? If done at indie shop are service invoices from them sufficient to document to Porsche that proper service has been performed on car in the event I have some kind of issue requiring repairs under warranty?

Thanks very much

Indie invoices would be sufficient.

Yes to all, and if you have documentation to back it up you, and your car, will be fine.

Indie invoices are just as good. You're not required to service at the dealer.

My 15k mile 2017 will go indy for oil and such going forward. Other actual repair (if needed) will go to dealer for CPO

I'm in a similar situation: my 991.1 has 2.5 years left on the extended factory warranty. For the first time, I'm servicing it at a local indie instead of the dealer.

Good to know that there's nothing wrong with going this route as long as you document the hell out of it.
