How to make the active grill shutters to move while the car is stopped
This might be a dummy question, but is there a way to make the active grill shutters move to check if they are working fine? I'm installing the Rennline Radiator Protector screen this weekend and I'd like to be able to check my active grill shutters are working fine after the job. My backup plan is to attach a GoPro into the bumper and go for a highway drive, but if there is a way to make them move while the car is in my garage that would be great.

You could try it the same way I move the electronic emergency brake when doing a brake job. Detach the electric plug to the grill shutters, should be a very simple 2-lead plug - and get a spare 12v battery, then energize the two prongs to the shutter with jumper wires. I have no idea how accessible those plugs might be. If you don't have a spare 12V batter, you *might* can do it with a simple 9V battery that you use for smoke detectors, etc.
