Default Detailing Questions: inside the frunk

The plastic cover in my frunk looks kind of dull and the two domes with the rubber caps do really look unpleasant.
Is there an easy way to get this area clean and shiny again? What stuff should I buy? Thank you!

Picture for reference about the area I'm talking about:

You can just pull that whole plastic piece off and wash/detail it,

I would remove it and clean it with soap or some other all purpose cleaner. You could try something like CarPro Perl although I would recommend coating it. Will last longer and probably look better. Any trim coating should work fine. CarPro is one that I like.

I used Ammo tire gel on it. It's black plastic. Many things will work.

There are many plastic restore finishers out there. Many to choose from. Most from the major car cleaning, car waxing manufacturers will get the job done nicely.

I ordered me the 303 Aerospace. Wonder if I could clean the fins in front of the air intake as well!?
Thank you all for your advice and help!

It will work there as well. If you want a product that lasts a longer - and looks better IMHO - look at Gyeon Trim. You can watch the video in this link to see if it is right for you: Gyeon Trim

Remove that black plastic cowl from the car. Wash it.....nothing too fancy...and dry it off. Place it on top of a couple large towels. Douse it with the Aerospace 303, and rub it around. Leave it for about 24 hours to "soak in" and "cure". With a dry cloth, buff off any residue, to even out the appearance, and knock down some of the sheen. Reinstall.

Collinite 845 will make that piece black for a long time.

Then again, the more I think about it...

I just sent Eric at Bumperplugs some stuff to part so it will have to wait for the next time.

Thank you DaveGee: Ordered that 303 Aerospace spray and it works like magic.
Did the fins at the air-inlet, underside of mirrors and plastic panel by the exhaust and of course the frunk liner. Very happy with the result. Very subtle refresh of the plastics.
