The APR tune and the DSC Sport active suspension module are transformative. I’d suggest keeping both of those on your radar. I really like your stock rims. Definitely keep them for Winter. My RS Spyder Design wheel is a real PITA to clean. One cleaning convinced me to change them. The HREs arrived yesterday and they are 3Lbs lighter for each front wheel and 6Lbs lighter for each rear wheel. Excited to see how they ride. Unfortunately, my right rear tire seems to have a slow leak, so either going to have to spring for two new Pirelli P Zeros, or better yet, a whole new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Are your BC Forged 20” or 21”? The HREs are 9”x20” Front and 12”x20” Rear. Debated the 21” TechArt Formula IVs, but the 20” won out. Keep us abreast of your upgrades as they come along.

Plan is definitely to keep the stock ones for winter and my BC's are 20's - 20x9 and 20x12. Hope I don't regret going 21's but we'll see. Those Pirelli's are terrible, especially compared to the Michelin's. Mine are brand new (dealer put them on right before I bought the car) and I'm ordering the PS4S's this week to put them on the BC's when they come. Can't wait to see your car with those HRE's...it's going to look amazing!

The only problem with the 21" is the amount of side wall on the tire

Driving on highway and hitting the joints when the 2nd one is higher than the 1st, like when go over an overpass.

Most of those joints are finished in metal. I hate them even with my 20"s

Did you install the DSC Sport suspension module? I was banking on it adding enough compliance to be able to go with 21”, as it really improves the ride on the stock 20” wheels. Either way, I now own 20” a set of HRE P101s at this point, so it’s too late to go with the 21” now.

I don't have the DSC module

I'm lowered with the Techart springs and roads are good in my area but on the highway there is no way to avoid the joints that run from one side of the road to the other. I even feel them in my suv in stock form.

Here is a pic of the sidewall on the oem 20" tires, front and rear wheels are 1/2" wider than the oem ones

No fun in damaging wheels and having to wait 4 to 5 weeks for a new one

I wanted to go with 21's but I just couldn't do it

I posted this in another thread but thought I’d provide an update in here as well. Over the past few weeks I did tinted windows and rear bumper reflectors, Clearplex on the windshield, Soul Performance Cats and black 4” tips, H&R Springs, full wrap by Inozetek in Midnight Purple plus ceramic coating, BC Forged HCS04s wheels in 20x9 and 20x12 also ceramic coated with Michelin PS4S tires, satin black headlight washer caps and satin black “Porsche 911 Carrera 4S” emblems with the “S” in red. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn’t be happier. I know purple may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s such a cool color. Changes from black to purple depending on the light. Just awesome!

I like that deep purple, way to be different.

Glad you didn't go with black wheels

Thanks and me too! I was debating the color but leaning towards brushed then I saw your car. Sealed it for me.

The car looks great! You are doing some of the mods I've already done on my '18GTS Cab! I went with the H & R VTF adjustable springs, Soul Sports Cats and the larger diameter Soul tips (4" straight cut with a black ceramic coat)--I originally went with the double wall 3.5" but didn't really like the look. I also changed the S brakes out for Brembo GT380's with yellow calipers.

If you need any pics and would be happy to send them to your private email.

Now you can see them a block away, love it. Won't look like black circles when you take pics

Did you replace the clear in front of the rear tires, behind doors? That area sure takes a beating

I may get them replaced myself

I did have them replace the PPF on that spot on the rear fender because you're right, it def takes a beating. Highly recommended and it's not expensive at all. Well worth it.
