Car is back from the detailer and freshly corrected / coated. I also added additional PPF and removed the factory stuff on the front of the rear fender for a much larger piece of Xpel for much better protection. Absolutely amazing

Great! 2019 drove my '11 GTs from So. FLA to the Jersey shore, 1400 miles- what a ride!

Are the rear GTS lettering painted or applied/adhes?

Dark blue is the only P blue to get...

I installed some Soul sport cats on the car today. There's nothing new to add to this that hasn't already been said. The tone and volume of the exhaust with the valves open is much improved. You can now hear the turbine wheels whistling at low speeds. With PSE off, the car is nearly as quiet as it was previously. I would say that the overall livability of the car was not changed in any significant way, but the character of it is so much better when in sport mode or PSE on. Fitment was excellent. No smell. No check engine light. I'm extremely happy with this as the first modification and would recommend it to anybody looking for a bit more fun out of their 991.2

As to the installation itself: As usual the turbo heatshields are annoying to take off and put on. There's one screw on each side that's incredibly difficult to see, much less access. No issues with the de-install pulling the lone turbo stud on either side though. Compared to the heatshield screws, the one difficult header nut on the driver's side looks to be easy in comparison . Reinstallation is considerably easier as the soul cats are physically smaller with a lot more room to work up in there. Overall the entire process reminded me a lot of the exhaust/header install I did on my 991.2 Turbo S I used to own.

I have some AMS intercoolers as well as TiAL intake pipes on the way. Until the turbo inlets themselves are released that'll be all the hard-part changes.
