250F Water Temperature in Traffic

250 for water temp is hot. I don't think i've seen mine read above 194.
I've also never even seen my oil temps get to 250 before but I don't think i've ever driven in traffic in hot weather with this thing.

250F coolant temp... I wonder what temp the engine reaches.

I once had debris come up through slots in the wheel well and interfere with one of the fans. Fortunately it made noise so I noticed it and got it cleared out, but it never threw a warning to tell me the fan wasn't working. When the car isn't moving you might need that fan forced cooling, so I'd definitely get it looked at. Is there a valve or thermostat to check, too?
