forget about the black headlights, they look great but it's a waste of money to change them. you can buy black surround vinyl to make them look a bit better. wrap your mirrors black, and get a black 911T emblem only, discard the PORSCHE. it will be a cheap upgrade and will look great.

Black lights, mirrors, rear grill and rear badging on order. Decided to go with black to match the wheels. I am my own worst enemy 🤣

Hi All,
I am new to the forum, sorry for kicking up an old topic but think it makes most sense to ask my question in this thread.
I just bought a 991.2 Carrera T in white, it has no decals/stickers on it and the wheels are not original. I want to bring back all the decals/stickers and the OEM rims. Now I found a set of rims but they are mat black which I don't like, so I want to paint them in the correct Titanium grey colour. My question is what type of clear coat should be used? It can be mat, silk gloss or high gloss (not native English not sure if it translates correctly) I am doubting between silk gloss and high gloss because the Agathe grey mirrors, rear deck and stickers are not high gloss while looking at the pictures of the original T wheels they do look high gloss. Any idea what to do?

So I had the rims painted by a paintshop in the D7Z color as indicated in this forum... that is NOT the right color unfortunatly. After checking partslink24 it appears that the color is OC6, D7Z does not match at all with the Agathe grey exterior details. So back to the paintshop to redo them

Yes I know they are not 100% matching the Agate Grey, however I ordered the wheel caps that supposed to be on the car, they are also in OC6 colour and the caps also don't match the D7Z and for me it is indeed to far of.

That caps being off in color would indeed bother me also. Perhaps work with the caps to match your wheels.
