Default Parked next to 991.2 GTS - compare 991.1 GTS

Saw this 991.2 targa GTS today and figured why not keep him company.

Love the chalk color and his GTS wheels are different than mine. He has less spokes and seem to have a small angle to them. He also looked taller than mine from what I could see. Wish I had those taillights as they seem to be an improvement from mine but overall I think I liked mine better...biased obviously.

enjoy the pics...

Good shots. I like the 991.2 better but as I own one I'm biased too.

Having owned both a 991.1S w/ powerkit and a 991.2GTS, they are both brilliant cars! Both fantastic in their own way.

Great photos!

stated so eloquently. Many would agree. Some might not. But they could be wrong. 😉

991.1 GTS is one of my all time favorites. Love my T but the last NA GTS is special in my view. All are great and happy to own one.....👍

Tough call. I think each is special in it's own way. Would be happy to own either... And even happier to own both!!

My local dealership has a 2019 gts in chalk with a manual and pccb’s!! It’s a demo with 3k miles. Now that thing was sweet and I drooled over it for 10 mins...I was bored and needed to get out of the house. They are asking 130k for it. They had a blue one with manual and pccbs for 120k.

Then I saw a black 2019 991.2 T with the GT3 buckets and really drooled over that. It was a manual and was 104k.

The one that stole my heart however (toss up between the chalk manual gts and this one) was a 2017 black turbo s with red interior. Boy that rear end!!!

But when I was leaving and turned on my sweet sounding soul sport exhaust with sport cats and left - there were some folks drooling over mine which basically made me feel that owning any variation of 911 is freaking awesome!!

OMG- how could you guys have the guts to park next to those two SUVs? Both nice cars, but my choice is the .2. Not a ducktail fan, the .1 GTS is no slouch.

Yours wins for lip spoiler alone.

When I got there - there were no cars in the parking lot. He and I were parked somewhat far away but Porsche’s are magnets for trucks/SUV’s parking next to us.

The spoiler gives me a feel of retro and GT3 blended together.

I almost got a gt3 but loved the rear seats and more comfy feel of my gts. I also felt the gts was a better daily and long term keeper.

Wish I had the gt3 front and gt3 power. I like the GT3 wheels better also than my GTS wheels but am actually going to sell these and get something a little bigger/different style. Essentially building a blend between looks and style while having some fun NA German power to play with.

Two beautiful cars! The 991.2 tail lights are a big improvement though.
