Just got a new Macan GTS, package was $1200 for 3 years. Tires, wheels, door dings, windshield and lost or damaged keys. Porsche does not want patches/plugs in tires but insured will replace the tire.
$400 a year was a no brained for me. Not so lucky for car insurance as it went up over $300 a year from a '20 Macan S.
Had a friend who hit a pothole at night in a Jag, without insurance cost was wheel and tire $1300

Work that price down a little. $2780 CAD is around 2081 USD.

I'd jump at it for around: $2000 CAD ...... 1500 USD.

Especially if it's going to be a daily.

I've had to buy one wheel so far and had 3 refurbed in my 111K in 6 years

I just purchased it on my car. $1750 for 4 years, seemed reasonable enough. They did tell me it also covers curved rims (8 total claims for curb)

I opted for it on mine recently -- 2019 Turbo, $1,900USD for 5 years, unlimited mileage (they wanted $2,500USD), no deductible. A few of the reasons I did this...

1) I drive it often - 10k or more miles a year
2) roads by me are crap and potholes can swallow children they're so big
3) pricing out what tires (not wheels) cost, I can easily make out better on this after a few flat tires ... which will happen.

Well I opted against it. The car is going to be a weekend toy and hopefully a few DEs.
Rarely will it be used in town.
There are better thing I can do with the money, especially a few mods to the car....

I paid $2500 for 6 years of tire, rim and dent protection back in 2017. Main reason that I thought it made sense is GTS has center lock wheels. Fortunately, haven't had to use it.
