Default Back to Porsche and this time a 4GTS

Last 911 for me was a 991.2 in 2017. Got a R8 for a while which was a really awesome car. I kept looking at this chalk 4GTS in the dealer inventory website while everything was shut down. I finally saw it last week and the test drive was amazing. I gave them an offer they can’t refuse and now happy to be back to Porsche. Always wanted to try a GTS and love the extra light on the 4!

The car has no headlight washer which is great. Interestingly who ordered the car picked everything on the premium package plus Individually. I think this was a way to get the basic sports seat since he paid more this way. I usually lease but bought it this time. Still debating if protective film makes sense

Love it!
And yes 100% on PPF! Do it now while the paint is still unharmed.

Second the protective film install, you won't regret it.

I had mine done by Porsche at Port of Entry Jacksonville before pick-up and it was more than acceptable with pre-cut film panels. Having a detailer disassemble the car for an install just doesn't appeal to me.

Enjoy the car!

Get grill covers to protect the front radiators. I have Zunsport but if you search this forum you will see there are other options.

Great car!

PPF on hood, fenders, and bumper for sure. Think about the rear fenders. They are WIDE. I did full rear fenders and doors too. Doors could have been left out but for $600 it was an easy decision.

Thank you all. Good to be back and can’t stop driving! Most places near me use kit instead of custom film. Prob not a big deal as they roll the edges. I think I should do it and should include behind the rear wheels. My 2015 c4s was heavily pitted in that area. Anyway, be safe And almost TGIF!

Woodland hills.. take a drive to Newport and get it! Riverside had an agate one but was sold right after dealer reopened! Woodland Hills also have a black one. But I got stuck on the chalk!

OP: Did you keep the R8? Was it a V10+ or V8? Manual or Auto? I've been flirting with an R8 for a long time...
