Default 991 PCM rebooting

I recently purchased 2015 991 CS4
After few weeks I started experiencing problems with PCM .PCM start rebooting randomly, every few minutes. I saw a lot of posts about this issue but they are all more than a year old.
Is there any new solution for this problem? Do you guys have any suggestions what I should try to do ,I’m running on
SYSTEM VERSION V4.75
PCM 3.1
What is the newest PCM VERSION for 991 models and what is the best way to update the version .

Another thing that is driving me crazy since day one is that every time I start the car I have to change sound source from tuner back to Bluetooth,is there any way to have the car recognize and to connect by itself to iPhone always when you start up the car ?

Last thing is there any safe way to install Apple car play in 991 model?

Read through the posts and you will find a solution to the re-boot problem and what you need to do once your PCM is back to a stable mode.

Consensus is that the issue affects the older PCM versions such as yours, not the newer 4.xxx versions. You can update the PCM software but likely not the PCM hardware in your car due to compatibility.

The problem really isn't related to Apple iPhone and CarPlay, it affects it.

And there are settings to have your iPhone recognized on start. Check your manual and for DIY videos to guide you.

Have you tried setting your key fob memory before exiting the car? I think it will remember your seat position, AC/heater settings, and PCM preferences (volume, source, etc.)

This is the second go-round with Sirius causing the PCM reboots. OP may have been referring to those posts

After I pulled out the fuse and did also soft reset looks like that rebooting problem is gone. I just drove the car for two hours and PCM didn’t reboot not even once.
thank you for help

I still want to know what is the latest firmware version for 991 and is it good idea of buying the disc and doing this installation by myself or I should take the car to the dealer.

Is there any safe way of installing APPLE PLAY on my PCM .
