Default $3k oil change?

Dropped my CPO 991.2 GTS off for annual state inspection and have the dealership look at hard shift issue between 1st & 2nd and make sure A/C noise isn’t something to be concerned with. 30k service was performed by same dealership last July when I bought with 27k miles and dropped off today with 29,995. First comment was asking about the soul cats so kinda worried they are going to pull some bs there. Then the SA says he can give me a price for major service that will be due in July. Sure why the hell not if I am here. iPad flips around with 3 different options at $3k plus. WTH are they thinking?!? Politely declined that as was planning to do myself anyway. Then they gave me a Mamba Green Macan to drive and expect it to be a week or more... I have a feeling this experience may get more interesting.

Let me guess... Porsche of West Houston.
Rennsport is out in Sealy & very highly recommended by LSRPCA members if you're looking for an Indy.

If last year you had the 30k service then it sounds like they are quoting you the 40k service which is much more extensive than an oil change. $3k is still way out of line. But not quite accurate to say this is just an oil change.

I was lucky to have a great dealer in Pa that would allow me to bring my own oil and parts and only charge me for labor on oil changes.
I moved my car to Florida last year and when oil change time came I reached out to Naples Motorsports and asked if they would do the change if I brought my own oil (5W50). They said no problem and did the work including supplying the filter and new plug for $100. Since I don't have the room anymore to do it my self I thought this was a great deal and they are a great team. Plus if you wait you can graze through the Lambo, Fcar, McLaren and Lotus inventory you pass the time.

If I lived out that way I'd go to Rennsport for sure.
Porsche North Houston is supposed to be good, everyone on LSR PCA recommends Chris Brown, FWIW.

I take mine to European Auto Techniks off 1960 west.

With Porsche you need to come prepared and tell them what you want serviced. If Cody is still the service manager at West, speak with him and bypass the front door clerks.
porsche North is better but you still need to tell them what you want or not but they are great. I buy my own oil change kit at FCP Euro because I want Liqui Moly 5W40 and bring to Porsche North, no issue.
