Default 991.1 Turbo S Cab versus a 991.2 GTS Cab?

Guys - I really need you help! Please help me decide....

Option 1 - A late model 991.1 Turbo S Cab with 10K Miles, MSRP 244K, priced at $135K, no accidents, no paintwork...everything looks great but no warranty! Has pretty much every option!

Option 2 - A 991.2 GTS Cab with 10K miles, MSRP $175K, priced at $115K, no accidents or paintwork...mint condition + 2 years of new car warranty! very nicely optioned to my liking except PAS.

There is a $20K savings on the GTS Cab and probably another $3K because I will purchase warranty on the Turbo S cab anyway.

I love both cars and although the savings matter, at the end of the day I would like to buy a keeper, I have had a Turbo S in the past (a coupe) and was happy with it except the exhaust note which I changed over with a SW exhaust install.

Any recommendations? Thanks

I assume the GTS is also a PDK? What colors are they? And did you mean "RAS"?

Yes they are both PDK, I meant Porsche Active Safe, both vehicles have RAS (rear Axle Steering)

They are both Carrara White with garnet red interior, thank you!

You are buying a cab so you are obviously not concerned with the ultimate performance of the car since I doubt that you will track it. That is not meant to be an insult but a fact to consider as to why you would need a Turbo S other than to say that you own one. On the other hand, the GTS is generally viewed as a good value. The GTS will have more performance than you could ever use on the street and it being under the factory warranty and low miles you could probably get an extended warranty for a relatively reasonable price but I have not been convinced that an aftermarket warranty is a good investment other than piece of mind. As an aside, if you are looking at resale value, etc. white with a red interior is not going to be a plus when you go to sell the car.

No track rat I know would ever buy a Turbo S to track. They might track it a little, but just to learn it's limits and car control. And maybe to socialize at the event.
I'm driving a 991.2 C2S with X51 Power Kit, and thinking about upgrading a Turbo S.
I'm retired, so no commute, and use a beater for shopping. Use my 911 only for sunny day blasts and car events (rarely track it, and then carefully)
Love all the looks of the Turbo S over the C2S or.GTS - can't get a factory wing for any 991.2 Carrera.
The Turbo S power & torque are head & shoulders above the C2S or GTS: lots more, without getting specs and calculator.
For me, exhaust would need to be upgraded an any Turbo S short of onewith PSE.
If you've already owned one, the you should already have some opinions on th Turbo S...

I would go Turbo-100% for the $20K difference.

from personal ownership experience, the turbo S cab is amazing! lots of extras than the GTS! you will be happy!

Market has pretty much bottomed out on the 991.1 Turbos so the amount of depreciation is not going to be around 5% a year which is not bad for a car of this stature!

I cross-shopped a 991.1 Turbo cab with a 991.2 GTS cab and strongly preferred the GTS. Depends what you're looking for of course. To me, the Turbo was supremely powerful, but felt more like a luxury car than I wanted. The GTS was plenty fast, but also felt more connected and more like a raw sports car. You can't go wrong with either one, but I've never looked back with any regret.

I crossed shopped the Turbo and GTS and went with the GTS. Both were great, I am sure I would have been happy either way. In the end, my personal preference went with the GTS over the Turbo, probably all intangibles. Now, I can still plot for the upgrade to the Turbo.

For a special second car, I'd get the GTS. For a Swiss army knife - the TURBO.

I know this isn't an option but I'd get a 991.1 over either haha.
