Thanks, agreed, I think I would be ok with a metal sunroof, as opposed to a glass sunroof. Still preference for no sunroof at all. :-)

As for CPO, I have also seen people finding great non-CPO cars in excellent condition, buying directly from the original owner or second owner. This can be the ideal deal...

Thanks I liked it! If only it was a Manual... I really would like a Manual, will see in a few weeks/months if I haven't found a good Manual car whether I give up :-)

There’s one on BAT now and it will at least give you an idea of current market.

Is a nice spec on the BaT car. I have a 2014 C4S 7MT in Agate Grey with sport classic wheels. High spec with full leather (black+platinum), carbon interior incl heated steering wheel, illuminated sills, Burmester, sport chrono, PSE, PASM, and glass sunroof. Former CPO car with ~28k miles. Serviced at Porsche since new. Depending on how the market looks I might be open to selling. Took me a very long time to find it.

So my search has been a bit slower for a few reasons but I am considering a couple of cars including from 1-2 Rennlisters but this one came up (see link below): it's one of the most recent, low mileage 991.1 C4S I have seen so far. It's not a color I was particularly interested in unfortunately (white, not sure what to think) and it has a sunroof (so few cars with sunroof delete in the US...) but it checks many other boxes. I would likely want to replace the white taillights with the regular ones as I am not a fan of the transparent look.
I find it expensive but again it's more recent than most 991.1s and it seems to be really clean.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
This is a good case where I wonder how picky I can be even if I am patient and willing to wait several months for the right car...

Nice car. You're in 991.2 territory already though. Price wise.

True. Price is above what I thought would be my upper limit, but it's low mileage, one owner, etc. so price is probably relatively fair. At the end of the day, my dilemma is on the exterior color - after looking at the market for several weeks, I understand I need to make compromises but color is kind of a big one. While I don't dislike White, it's not how I had pictured my dream car :-)

I agree. Color is very important. When I was looking for mine, I did not want to get a silver car until I saw it in person. I got a GT silver metallic. Darker than platinum silver. Instantly loved it. I think it has been mentioned already, but make sure to get one with full leather interior. It really completes the car.
