Default Spoiler Options for 991.2

It seems like the 991.1 has the option of the Duck Tail spoiler but on the 991.2 its the smaller "Sport Design" spoiler - is that correct?

I also see the GT3 Touring lip spoiler. Also a nice option.

What other options are out there, including aftermarket?

Post up your pics and where you got them.Curious to see what fits properly and how it looks.

Check out Polobai's ride - he did up a very nice custom spoiler...i'm sure he'll post some pics here but his build thread has quite a bit of info and pics.

I was debasing between GT3 Touring lip spoiler and subtle extension sport design spoiler and went with sport design for my .2 GTS.
It's subtle but quite noticeable for 911 owners and add nice look to it. I personally like it and complete the look of sport design kit.
As long as you don't put GT3 style of huge wings on non GT3 cars, I think you will be fine.

Leaning toward the sport design spoiler for sure. Makes a great impact but it's subtle. Thanks for sharing isugoo!

That sport design looks really great! Where did you get it? Never mind. Just saw it on suncoast site.

I'm planning on getting the spoiler from Spoiler Nation, and then having a good body shop mold it into the existing spoiler - similar to polobai.

I purchased it from suncoastparts.com and found out @getPorscheparts selling it cheaper than Suncoast right after I ordered it.
You can email Jason (jreighard@mileone.com) to get a quote. He's a great guy and always very quick with replies. I purchased my parts from him since my 2008 E90 M3 days till now.

Once you get it painted, it really takes 15-20 mins (remove 6 screws and screw caps) to swap your stock to Sportdesign spoiler.

Suncoast seems to be the go to on this forum. Probably since searching is somewhat easy. But their prices are almost never great. GetPorscheparts.com has come through for me and I would highly recommend them.

I agree. It's tough to find parts from getporscheparts.com. So I usually email Jason and he always send links back to me quickly. Their BMW parts site is quite easy to navigate but Porsche site is not so easy.

What needs to be molded? The 'Sport Design' spoiler is a direct replacement?

Is the one from spoiler nation not a complete replacement?

Correct, the Spoiler Nation one is a lip spoiler rather than a uniform replacement piece... molding the lip into the existing spoiler would allow me to have a larger and more aggressive 'swoop' on the spoiler when compared to the sport design unit. Additionally there's a considerable cost savings vs the replacement peice.

Here is what I did with mine and what I believe @LargePuppy is planning to do as well. I did it this was because I wanted something a bit more aggressive than the sport design spoiler as well as something different. In the end, it ended up costing me around 1/2 the price of the sport design with paint ($650ish)

Yeah. they have much better price. I paid over 1500 with useless lower plastic parts from Suncoast (it's useless and not needed but they claim that I need it to install).
Suncoast does not offer price match so when I called, they declined to price match or take back if I don't pay restocking fee + shipping.

From that point, I only buy parts from getporscheparts.com and if I can't find it, I just email directly to Jason to buy parts.
