Default Painted Interior Trim Scratch

Due to its glossy nature and plastic look, are very minor scratches likely to come out of the painted interior trim pieces by buffing or some method?

Can you post a picture?

Can you removed the painted trim piece that is scratched? It's going to be difficult to get a buffing pad on a small interior trim piece, and generated leverage & pressure,to make a big enough difference.

Talk to Eric at BumperPlugs.com, and see if he can get you a painted replacement piece. Or remove your piece, and send to Eric for re-finishing.

In short, yes they can be paint corrected like paint. The hard part is going to be getting enough leverage on them off the car. You can use a micro buffer to do so and then protect with xpel once done to avoid future scratches as they make a precut kit for the interior pieces.
