Default The Cost of Self Isolation

The cost of self isolation is really starting to add up. Nothing to do but look at Porsche parts. New radiator grills? Why not! Click! Titanium lug bolts? Absolutely! Click! I'm going to wind up ordering a new 992 Turbo S at this rate.

You know what, you're right. I wasn't complaining, just trying to spread some humour. But, you bring up a great point about how privileged we really are. For every cent I spend (or have spent) on the car during this crisis, I'm going to donate the equal amount to local charities who are really going to be needing some help shortly. Thanks for the push!

You are right! I am thinking of buying those spark plugs that have been in my virtual cart for the last few months!

Its a good thing work is keeping me busy and car dealers are closed. It snowed a tiny bit here today too and I am pretty sure they salted the roads. All good reasons to just work.

Yup. DSC's are back in stock and I have one on the way. I feel bad taking delivery resources for a car part but at least it's support of business.
It's been fun to be in the garage a little more. I just put a cold air intake on the F150 and have discovered the random orbital. What a rabbit hole the compounding and polishing world is. I always disliked ocd car care but all of a sudden I'm really enjoying correcting the black paint on the T. I have a bunch of detailing products sitting in a box outside in the rain. Letting it air out a bit.

Ackman put over $2B in the market and shorts are scarce so the bottom may be here, or very near...

That guy freaked me out the other day on CNBC and I sold a stock that went up a good amount the next day. Been kicking myself in the butt every day since, cause it hasnt gone back down to where I sold it and I sold it at a significant loss.

He is just one example, and the info on shorts is a fact. If I knew for sure I would be very rich so I am just making conversation actually since I cannot think of anything else I want to get for my car! I did have my Harley lowered the other day though.

Yeah i know you are, I was just sharing my stupidity that resulted from hearing him scare me. I think in a month or 2 stocks be all good for most part and money to be made now but who knows.

Anyways, I have been thinking about a DSC, but I hate driving in normal mode and like stiffness of sport. I have thought about asking for a custom tune that makes normal feel like sport and sport be even sportier feeling and geared toward track use if possible. Then I would be interested in a DSC. When people say it makes things more compliant and smoother on street it actually turns me off from the product. I have had no experience with it in person, so I may just not understand the actual results.

Other than that, I want to lose 250lbs off my targa which is not realistic.... I bought a lithium battery which saved a lot already.

Talk to Tom at DSC and convey your thoughts and requirements and I am positive he can set it up exactly the way you want it. And from what I understand you can fine tune it yourself if you feel the need for a little tweaking.

Default I hear you

Just bought a 19 golf R yesterday online. I could not resist the 0% interest for 7² months and no payments for 180 days. Will be interesting to see how pdcc and dcc stack up on a mountain road.
