What happened to the online owners manuals?
For years, I've been able to poke around and search online versions of owners manuals on www.porscheownersmanuals.com (for example http://www.porscheownersmanuals.com/...le-of-contents) and I've used/posted plenty of links to specific pages right here on RL. Now those links redirect to a page with a bunch of Porsche video tutorials. Anyone know what happened?

Have a link to the Porsche online manuals that was set on my PC about a year ago, used it many times to access that reference.
Sure enough, that link now goes to a web page that is completely different and shows videos with no access to the owner's manual.
Don't know what Porsche's thinking was on this, but it wasn't smart. I too sent them an e-mail requesting that they reverse the change and put the online manual back on.

I received a reply from Annaliese at PNA, quite promptly actually.
She apologized for any inconvenience and referred me to the “Porsche Good to Know” app for smart phones. The manuals can be accessed there.
Dowloaded the app and you can select your model and download its manual.
I’ve got the one for mine, so I imagine that’s the new normal.

I got a similar response. Here's the main portion of it:
"Thank you for contacting Porsche Cars North America in regard to our website.

Same response I got.
I installed the app, and downloaded the 991 manual. Not sure if it has all the content of the previous online version. And I guess Porsche or PNA/PUSA has assumed we all prefer a smart phone for our interface with the digital world. Rather presumptuous, but I guess that is the brand model.
