Doesn't sound as "raw" as I thought it would. Not sure I like the cacophony of sounds.

Agree, definitely not what I was thinking - sounds like a noise a kid in the elementary school lunchroom would make... not the nice elegant sound made with your cats and headers with a proper exhaust...

Can't say I disagree. Having done some exhaust work on this car already, I had some idea that it would be pretty load, and it is. Not cat-less loud, but louder than a muffled setup. From Idle to ~3,500 RPMs is sounds just obnoxious in sound level, but not refined. Once the revs get high, I like the way it sounds. Of course sound is a highly subjective topic.

I'm going to get it on the dyno soon to see if we can get some screaming clips as well, and go from there.

Appreciate the feedback!

Reminds me of a Subaru if they had two extra cylinders.

Here are some more clips from today on the dyno. Dyno plot for credits.

I was surprised that it picked up that much as the load limits do a pretty good job of keeping the power in check. Will be interesting to see what additional gain a Pro-Tune will yield in a few weeks.

I think it sounds pretty good. Now put them on some GT cars so we can hear 9krpm.

I would like to see that as well. We had a GT3 swapped Carrera here last week with an aftermarket exhaust and it sounded pretty darn sweet!

Anyone else care to add some feedback? The more the better.

From your video, it sounds good in high rpm’s. (Like a 911 should)
But in my opinion, it would be too much for everyday…

I'm right there with you myself. Not a street setup for me. As I've gotten older and more crotchety I have less tolerance for 'obnoxious' noises and prefer a subtle refinement. I have some ideas to tweak the sound some and cut it down in the cabin so it's not dead to me yet.

The younger guys don't care; louder the better. And anyone I've talked to in regards to track use don't care as long as it meets spec (when cats are required) and is a power added; ultimate loudness is severely softened when wearing a helmet :P

It sounds similar to my X-Pipe uptop and under load. The light load and down low sounds a bit rough, but I still like it.
I know my car has a lot of low range, booming sound...so I think hearing this in person is needed.

Reminds me of two Triumph Speed Triples together, which this basically is.

I think it sounds great. How a turbo charged Porsche should sound. Excellent work!
