Memory question
I have a question about the memory function for seat, steering wheel, and mirrors. In my 2012.5 Carrera S cab. The seat, steering wheel and mirrors respond to the key settings when the ignition is turned on, moving into the proper positions. When the ignition is turned off the seat moves back to make exit and reentry easier. I now have a 2017 Targa 4S and it will only change settings with the memory buttons. Cannot find anything in the manual that helps. Both cars have the comfort entry feature. The only other difference is the 2012 has electric folding mirrors and the Targa has non-electric sport mirrors. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve

I have mine set up as follows since the Comfort Entry setting only moved the seat a couple inches, which is not enough for easy ingress and egress:
When I open the door the seat is all the way back and steering wheel up and in so after I get in, and before I start the car or close the door I press "1" and the seat and steering wheel move to my driving position. If I were to close the door before pressing "1" I have to press and hold it until they reach the positions. Finally, when I stop the car and open the door I press the "KEY" button and the seat moves back and steering wheel moves up and in. This is all done with using one key, the one I use when driving.

My 2014S with entry mode, the seats pull back when I enter, then seat moves forward to my saved driving position automatically, can't remember if this happens before I turn on car or as I close the door.

I had to set everything up of course so I hope that was clear! And I do have the Entry & Drive option.

I just always have to hold the button down until the seat stops moving. This is on a 2013 C2.

Strange. I only have to hold the button if I close the door or if the car is running. Another option is to use your other key as well. You can set your driving position for "1" with one key and your exit position for "2" with your other key.

2 setup as my 'entry/exit' position.
