Thanks for the advice and posts on forums. Just took delivery of a 2013 991.1S cab. MT with premium package plus and a few other options. Just shy of 44k miles and services all up to date with fresh tires and brake pads. She has a few flaws, but she’s just right for me Now, how do I overcome the fear of parking in public?

The cost to fixing door dings is low. Don’t stress every time you park. The best way to measure its value is how many times do you fill the tank, the more the better.

I totally get you about the fear of parking! I've had my car nearly 4 months and have only driven it 3 times, but I'm already dreading that situation.
I don't necessarily agree with nobody caring about it being a "911."
Look at all the Tesla's that get keyed for no reason at all! I just don't get some people!
