I recently bought the above, knowing that SPASM was standard on the GTS. I traded in a 2017 C2S that was opted with the sport package which included SPASM. The two things that were immediately apparent was that where I normally had to be cautious entering my driveway, now I drive right up and never scrape my lip. Also, when my air foil is deployed I see only the very top sliver of it in my rear view mirror where on my S you could clearly see almost half of it. I'm thinking I only have PASM.
This was a PCNA car that was never tagged and had 2700 miles on it, usually meaning that it was a track car at an experience center. I'm taking it back to the dealership to see what they say but was wondering if there's any other way of telling if I have SPASM or not. Any thoughts?

Punch in vin and see for yourself. I believe that the GTS can have spasm changed to pasm for no charge.
It also depends on what spoiler he has and how its programmed. For example. I had a 2017 911S with standard rear spoiler. NO SPASM. My rear spoiler would be at the edge of bottom window at 60mph. And at 80mph, I can see almost 1/2 of it in my window.
I then got the sport design spoiler with the longer edge that extrudes back and my dealer didn't program it. They only installed the spoiler. My spoiler when up, would cover 1/2 my window or more at the 60mph mark!!! At 80MPH it looked WAY WAY too high. Very out of place.
Then I found out the sport design spoiler has programming for it. Took it back to dealer and now my spoiler at the 60mph mark, I CANT SEE AT ALL. But it is up and looks level. And at 80MPH, I can only see the edge of it on the bottom of my window.
Here is mine with and without programming at the 60MPH (or button press) height. Remember, it goes even higher at 80MPH (I do have glass roof cracked or open alot).
The GTS isn't anywhere near as low as many want to believe. My Cayman S w/sport suspension was dragging on the ground compared to my '18 GTS. I'm not suggesting the GTS is like a lifted truck, just that it isn't as bad as people like to portray it. Yeah, my front spoiler lip is beat up on the bottom, but that has more to with parking bumpers/curbs than anything else. I always nicked the lip leaving my driveway with the Cayman S, but can safely leave without scraping with the GTS. I have to exercise care, but it is doable.
My base with PASM measures 27 1/8th” in the front wheel well with 20” tires at 30 PSI. What does yours measure? I also only see my spoiler when my sun roof is open.

The GTS with optional regular PASM, not the standard SPASM is the same height as a standard Carrera S. But the front spoiler is slightly more aggressive and lower. I specd my GTS with optional PASM as its my daily driver, I don't track, and I wanted the slightly softer ride. Very happy with it.
For what it's worth.. my 991.1S with S-PASM sits LOW, scrapes almost every where if I am not careful ... (25k miles, 20" wheels, 30 F, 35 Rear cold temps):
